René Cassin, the Jewish voice for human rights, has been working with The Traveller Movement to prevent and combat hate speech and hate crime with the #CutItOut campaign. We are currently seeing an overall rise in hate crime, the #CutItOut campaign aims to tackle harmful ideas and rhetoric which research shows is a key contributor to upsurges in hate crime.
The Traveller Movement
The Traveller Movement is a leading national charity committed to the fulfilment of human rights for ethnic minority Gypsy Roma and Traveller people, focusing on campaigning against hate crimes, including the #CutItOut campaign, a joint initiative with René Cassin, to bring people together in calling out abusive or inflammatory speech.
