Intern Scheme
René Cassin provides opportunities for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to develop their professional skills and gain work experience in the human rights sector through our internship programme.
If you can demonstrate an interest in human rights issues and believe you have something to offer to René Cassin, please send your CV with a covering letter that details your availability for an internship, and your interest in volunteering for the organisation, to info@renecassin.org. Please ensure that the subject of your email states: 'application for internship', and that your CV and covering letter contain your full name in document name.
We also offer opportunities for our members to work at other NGOs that we partner with. If you are interested, please email info@renecassin.org and we would be happy to refer you to the appropriate partner organisation.
Please also ensure that you sign up to our database to receive communications that are most relevant to your field/s of interest.
Gabriel Wirkierman (interned for 6 months at René Cassin in 2011):
'Interning for René Cassin has been an opportunity and a privilege.
While at RC, I was in charge of conducting campaign research on Human Trafficking and wrote a report on the situation in the State of Israel.
I had the opportunity to work with professionals from all backgrounds and engage with them. The ability to have a certain kind of power to exercise change in society according to universal and Jewish values represents something unique for me.
Many thanks are to my colleagues Simone and Shannah and every other friend without whom my experience at the JHub would not have been the same.'
